. >> massachusetts where concerns over al-qaeda activity in yemen could soon affect shipments into boston harbor. boston's mayor looking to keep a yemeni tanker from hauling liquefied natural gas into the harbor. there is the mayor. the shipment is scheduled to arrive next month. laura ingle is live with more on this. >> reporter: the mayor of boston and everett where the tanker ship is expected to dock, have been on the phone the last few days working on a plan to meet up and get the department of homeland security involved to help assess this risk. liquid natural gas tankers come through here all the time, usually coming from places like egypt, trinidad and tobago. this would be the first time a liquid natural gas tanker originating from yemen would come through the area and as of right now, it is just a proposed plan. the cold northeastern area surrounding the harbor needs liquefied natural gas to turn into heat for residents and businesses. one idea proposed by the mayor of boston is to look at the possibility of unloading the liquefied natural gas away from the city. u.s. coast guard
